Tom Bishop-de-Main – Man of Many Colours

“Tom Bishop-de-Main, born in the East End of London two years before the end of the war. Working from the tender age of 7 on a horse drawn bread cart. Tom has seen a colourful life from market worker, fairground attendant, rag and bone man to the Merchant Navy.” (from Tom’s website)

Painter Tom Bishop-de-Main’s eventful life inspires him to create these wonderfully colourful and vivid paintings. He can claim to be a true renaissance man as he is also a musician and writer, having written children’s books, television, radio scripts and poetry. Tom’s work is regularly exhibited and sold at the Glen Gates outdoor art market in Dunfermline.

We are looking forward to welcoming and getting festive with Tom at the INVERKEITHING FESTIVE MAKERS MARKET, 11AM – 4.30PM, Inverkeithing Civic Centre, Queen Street, KY11 1PA.
