The workshop/exhibition space at Maker is an inspiring and light filled creative space where we run a variety of events & exhibitions, community arts projects and workshops.

The gallery and gift shop at Maker presents a diverse range of beautiful visual art and contemporary craft, from small gifts to large art pieces, all produced by
Fife-based makers. Our carefully selected range aims to showcase the excellence and promote the range of work being produced in the area.

Catherine ‘Lindow in the Window’ – ‘Inverkeithing as art’
Maker is home to Catherine Lindow’s ‘Inverkeithing as Art’ work created in 2017. Catherine set up her easel in the window at Maker every day for a week, armed with lots of preparatory sketches she’d made on walks around the town. She then skilfully brought them all together into one large drawing, incorporating stories she gathered from locals who stopped to speak with her on the street and came into Maker for a chat.
Various sizes of prints and cards of the finished artwork are available to buy at Maker.
