Inverkeithing Sewing Group – fun and learning

We’re delighted that we are going to be welcoming the Inverkeithing Sewing Group to the Spring Into Summer Art & Craft Market, taking place on Saturday May 2nd, 11am-5pm in the Inverkeithing Civic Centre.

Inverkeithing Civic Centre, Queen Street, KY11 1PA

A group of mums got together to enjoy learning to sew, and before long moved on to using sewing machines. The group is a fun way to learn skills, find hidden talents and help each other. The group has started making items for sale, using both new and recycled materials, including cushions with pads, pyjama bags, pincushions and dolly’s clothes. Gorgeous!

If you were at the Information Day on Saturday 25th April at the Inverkeithing Civic Centre, organised by Take a Pride in Inverkeithing, you may have noticed the Sewing Group had a table, with lots of their lovely items on display and some of their members there to say hello!

Who can resist these cheerful fellows?

“The group is free to all. The group’s aims are to encourage knitting and crafting and bring the community together.”
