Workshops at the Friary 2015 – Recycled Paper Jewellery

Inverkeithing Arts Initiative ran a series of six creative workshops in November and December 2015 in the beautiful setting of Inverkeithing’s medieval Friary. The series finished with two popular and exciting Recycled Paper Jewellery workshops. Everyone who took part enjoyed making beads using papier mache and rolled paper, which they then decorated, creating highly original pieces to be worn or used as home decorations.

Previous workshops saw participants create large scale paper lanterns, bug hotels and book art. All of the workshops have been very successful, especially due to the enthusiasm and creativity of those who took part. IAI would love to run more in early 2016, and we will be making enquiries soon about who would be interested in taking part. In the meantime, here are some images of the fantastic jewellery created during the Paper Jewellery workshops.

Inverkeithing Arts Initiative would like to thank Inverkeithing Community Council and Fife Cultural Trust for funding Creative Workshops at the Friary.
