Filo di Lana –
Summer Artfest ’16 – Saturday 18th June – Inverkeithing Civic Centre
A local crafter, Filo di Lana crochets the most lovely accessories with a vintage feel such as slippers and berets, as well as delightful home wares, and now cute rag dollies as well! Using lovely coloured yarns for all items, and thoughtfully finishing items with lovely touches such as pretty buttons and fabric linings. Clothing and accessories can be ordered to the correct size.
Filo di Lana will be at the Artfest ’16 Summer Art & Craft Market on Saturday 18th June from 11am-4.30pm at the Inverkeithing Civic Centre Main Hall
Boxoftrix handmakes unique and exquisite embroidered framed art, textile jewellery and accessories made from recycled wool blankets, vintage crochet, old denim jeans, and many of the pieces are embellished and hand embroidered. As well as fabric items Boxoftrix make greetings cards and paper bunting from recycled maps and sheet music.
“I like to recycle as much as possible in my work to keep costs low, benefiting everyone. I am just a small creative business making whatever I take a notion to do and reusing and repurposing what I have.”
We’re delighted to welcome Boxofrix to our ART:JAM on Saturday 12th September at Inverkeithing Civic Centre.
Filo di Lana hand-crochets items such scarves, hats, slippers, children’s and babies wear, as well as bags and purses, all in the most delicious colours. A delight to look at and wear – with their distinctly vintage feel.
Filo di Lana will be joining us at the ART:JAM on Saturday 12th September 11am-4.30pm, so visitors can stock up on those lovely items for wearing on long Autumn walks and cosy evenings…
Filo di Lana Crochet is re-joining us at Inverkeithing Civic Centre on May 2nd for the ‘Spring Into Summer’ Art and Craft Fair. Gorgeous handmade crocheted items include slippers for children and adults, scarves, hats, hair clips and slides, jute bags, placemats and dressing table mats.

“I make hand crocheted items for babies, children and women. Mostly accessories, including hats, scarves and booties. All of my crocheted items can be made to order in a variety of colours, and to the suitable size. I will be taking orders on the day of the Arts and Crafts Market.”
Additional interesting information: Samantha will be introducing sample pieces soon based on original vintage crochet patterns from the 1960s. This collection will be available on a ‘made to order’ basis only.
