Karen Trotter – “To Reveal and Make New”

IMG_2195“Textures of tide and time fascinate me. Rust, splintered boats and batteries, driftwood, beaks, bones, bottle tops, feathers, glass, rope and seaweed find their place in my works, re-crafted with mosaic, abstracted in paint. My art results from the compulsion to comb beaches; to search, to reveal and to make new”

Karen Trotter will be joining us at the Inverkeithing Festive Makers Market on Saturday 12th December 11AM – 4.30PM to show and sell her fascinating and highly original mixed media artworks. She has been a participants, along with other North Queensferry makers, at all of our Markets in Inverkeithing, and we are delighted to once again welcome these wonderfully creative folk living and working in South West Fife!
