My Cherry Pie –
Summer Artfest ’16 – Saturday 18th June – Inverkeithing Civic Centre
My Cherry Pie designs and makes copper and silver enamelled jewellery and homewares in the most beautiful array of colours and textures, plus wheel-thrown ceramic pots, slip decorated with designs incorporating Japanese prints. Some of the pots contain ecosoy scented candles too. Just gorgeous!
My Cherry Pie has also taken a working studio in Inverkeithing at Inverstudios along with Black Rock Textiles and Jane Francis Paintings. A new phase of creative life awaits as the space will allow for more artist events, workshops, tuition and other collaborative projects. The space will be ‘open by appointment’ soon and commissions are welcome.
My Cherry Pie will be at the Artfest ’16 Summer Art & Craft Market on Saturday 18th June, 11am-4.30pm at the Inverkeithing Civic Centre, Queen Street.
My Cherry Pie’s copper etched and enamel jewellery and homewares is mouthwateringly gorgeous, with lovely colours and finishes. The jewellery range includes mixed metal pendants and necklaces, sterling silver and gemstone rings and bracelets and the homewares features copper enamel trinket dishes. Gail has also been branching out her range with wheel thrown ceramic pots and mugs – all using the characteristic My Cherry Pie styling, colour and pattern combination.

“I produce a collection of colourful and textured jewellery using techniques such as kiln fired enamel, copper, etching, repousse, stone setting and metal patinas.
I have a BH(Hons) woven textile degree from the Scottish College of Textiles but have developed my silversmithing and jewellery designs over the last 10 years whilst bringing up my family. I enjoy working with semi precious gemstones and Czech glass beads to compliment the copper and sterling silver.
I make rings, earrings, bangles, pendants, and welcome commissions.
I am also working on a new collection of ring and trinket dishes using enamel and ceramic transfers.”
