Karen Trotter mixed media artist

Karen Trotter –

Summer Artfest ’16 – Saturday 18th June – Inverkeithing Civic Centre

The work of Karen Trotter is inspired by the coast of Fife where she lives, she makes artefacts made from upcycled beach finds, which are wonderfully sculptural, and sells art prints and cards of her original paintings, which are inspired by sea life and the natural forms of the sea. on-the-shelfnw

Sea glass and sea pottery from Fife’s shores

“I collect sea pottery, sea glass and washed up slate near my Fife seaside home. I use the pottery to decorate various shapes, and I carve and paint celtic designs on the slate.”
