This powerful poem by Scottish poet Margaret Tait is the next in our series asking ‘what is love?’:

I didn’t want you cosy and neat and limited.

I didn’t want you to be understandable,

Understood.

Organising the gorgeous stock..

We are delighted with the range and quality of the items we’re going to be stocking in Maker’s gallery/shop at 2a High Street, Inverkeithing. With the interior nearing completion we had a chance to  take some photographs of some of the pieces. Just look at these beautiful and unique works of art and craft – and all of the ones shown here are created by Fife-based makers. Ceramics, prints, jewellery, mixed media, textiles, cards, badges and brooches – and there’s so much more to come…

Summer Artfest ’16 – Saturday 18th June – Inverkeithing Civic Centre

“I have a passion for ceramics and creating fun, individual pieces which are made at my home in Inverkeithing. My inspiration comes from Japanese ceramics and wood prints which have influenced my drawing style.

Sarah’s range includes jewellery, beautiful porcelain eggs and super cute ceramic wellies. She has also have recently started making cushions and scarves.
