Organising the gorgeous stock..

We are delighted with the range and quality of the items we’re going to be stocking in Maker’s gallery/shop at 2a High Street, Inverkeithing. With the interior nearing completion we had a chance to  take some photographs of some of the pieces. Just look at these beautiful and unique works of art and craft – and all of the ones shown here are created by Fife-based makers. Ceramics, prints, jewellery, mixed media, textiles, cards, badges and brooches – and there’s so much more to come…

Inspired by a love of vintage style, The Barbary Wood creates costume jewellery, using reworked beads, faux pearls, faux amber, crystal, Art Deco style beads and U.S. brass stampings. The vintage feel also extends to mixed media artwork, greeting cards and collage, all handmade with paper and found objects which are machine and hand stitched.
