Mary Farrell, jeweller & maker, and Jane Francis, visual artist, will be showing, selling and talking about their work from 2nd-9th September at Maker, 2a High Street Inverkeithing. The weekend of the 2nd and 3rd are the Central Fife Open Studios, when Maker will be part of a string of venues showing the work of exciting Fife-based artists and makers. Jane and Mary are delighted to be part of this event, which will showcase the amazing talent of people in the area. From Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th (half day on Wednesday), Maker will continue to display their work and will be open for visits from the public. The workshop/exhibition space at Maker is wonderfully light and fresh and will make a great backdrop to the work of these two artists.

What is love? Passionate new love which sets your heart all a flutter, or the deep abiding trust and warmth of a long partnership? We all have different experiences of love, but the most important thing is to tell your loved ones what they mean to you.
If you are thinking of getting your loved one a token of your feelings, what could be better and more fitting than something lovingly hand-made by local makers? We have a truly wonderful collection of covetable objects at Maker, 2a High Street Inverkeithing – and as a bonus we will be posting a series of Scottish love poems, exploring the many forms of love – until St Valentine’s Day on 14th February. Enjoy!
O, Love, love, love!
Love is like a dizziness;
It winna let a poor body
Gang about his biziness!
