Drop-in Drawing @ Maker – Tuesdays 11am-3pm

OPEN DRAWING – UNTUTORED: This is a drop-in, open, untutored drawing day from 11am-3pm. Some materials and equipment supplied but feel free to bring anything you’d like to use. Draw each other, from still-life, do some free mark making, or any kind of drawing you fancy! If you used to draw and have been thinking about taking it up again, you want to put aside some time each week for some drawing practice, or its something you’d like to give a go in a non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere – come along to Maker on Tuesdays! The sessions are FREE although a small donation is appreciated (if you can) towards refreshments.


Introduction to Jewellery Making

Three exciting new workshops from Jo Barrett. Learn a range of simple jewellery making techniques and create your own unique and beautiful finished jewellery.

Learn how to cut, file, texture and shape metal into a design of your choice.  Working with base metal, you will use traditional jewellery tools and techniques to form the metal into a piece of jewellery to take home with you. Tools used include – jeweller’s saw, needle files, hammers, sandbags, doming tools and jeweller’s drill. Cost £30 per person. All materials and equipment included.

Drawing for Fun with Rosie Gibson

Rosie is planning to repeat her brilliant and popular class ‘Drawing for Fun’ for new participants, depending on popular demand. It is a five week course on Thursday evenings 7-8.30pm, starting date TBA. Cost for the course will be £30 per person.
