ARTY STUFF
Following on from taking part in Rosie Gibson’s class ‘Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain’ in 2019, some of the participants have continued to meet and draw together as a group. They began meeting in the Inverkeithing Artspace at Maker, but when that was closed due to Covid restrictions, they continued to meet occasionally outdoors – in private gardens and public parks. They currently meet weekly at the Artspace again, and you’ll find their work displayed on the walls between classes. You can currently view work being done in the Artspace while the gallery/giftshop is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11am-5pm.
Tuesdays 10am-2pm
DROP-IN DRAWING
Please note Drop in Drawing has been suspended due to Covid19 restrictions. We will hopefully be able to restart the drop in drawing sessions when restrictions are lifted. Currently we are planning to re-start drop in drawing in spring 2022.
OPEN DRAWING – UNTUTORED: This is a drop-in drawing session from 10am-2pm. Some materials and equipment supplied but feel free to bring anything you’d like to use. The sessions are led by Jeanne Dron, who is there to offer advice if required and support as you follow your own practice. If you used to draw and have been thinking about taking it up again, or if you want to put aside some time each week for some drawing practice, or even if you are a complete beginner and its something you’d like to give a go in a non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere – come along to Maker on Tuesdays! The sessions are FREE although a small donation is appreciated (if you can) towards refreshments.
